Hey there!

My name's Jen and I'm starting a new job.

When most people get their graduate job, they're excited, apprehensive and joyous. I'm all of those things, but scaled up about ten million times. This is because for the first time ever, I'm also moving out of home (apart from when I went to uni!) and to another country on my own.

​

I graduated with a 2:1 degree from Bangor University July 2018, and I start my job in Kuwait in August. In that time I have documents to process, medicals to have and my life to pack up into a luggage allowance. I wanted to record my experience, but also share it with the world, so this is one of the mediums I am using.

​

University made me a person that takes every opportunity handed to them, and my aim is to inspire others to do the same. Life is too short to stay in one country, live with one community and have one job, so I'm hoping I can see as much of the world as possible, using my qualified teacher status to work my way around the globe!
