Copenhagen - You COULD travel the world...

From 6-9th June, I was lucky enough to visit Copenhagen, Denmark. As we landed, the flight path took us directly over the ocean onto the little islands that all connect up to mainland Denmark. It was breath taking to witness from a window in a plane, and then the journey in on the metro from the airport was just as charming. A majority overground, these trains have no driver, and take you directly into the city.

As a 22 year old, I probably shouldn't be such a fangirl over a popstar. Last year, when I found out Katy Perry was touring again, I booked 3 shows to go and see, and one happened to be in Copenhagen. I've done it before (rewind to Barcelona, 2015) and I'll (probably) do it again, and couple my love for travel with the adrenaline of tour.

I'm not sure if travelling is the excuse I use for seeing Katy perform live, or if seeing Katy perform live is the excuse for travelling, but either way, it's fun and I live for it when it's happening.
Of course, there's more to Copenhagen than Katy Perry; a lot more.
As well as a beautiful time sight seeing, I took the time to go to the Geological and Natural History museum. It's a stunning collection of artefacts and I would urge anyone with an interest in geology or natural history to visit. It was 50DKK for a student to enter, and it was worth all £6.50 of it!
I would 100% revisit Denmark again. Although expensive, the people were some of the happiest and friendliest I've ever encountered. Copenhagen was absolutely stunning, easy to get around and there was a lot to see. I had a 3 day metro ticket, but you only need to get one to and from the airport if you're staying in the centre as even from the Little Mermaid to Tivoli, it can easily be walked in half a day!
